Even though Halo 3 may have taken over Call Of Duty 4 as the most played Xbox Live title, Infinity Ward has not given up! Infinity Ward are planning to add an additional 4 game modes. Although there is currently no set date yet as to when these new playlists will go online, but I imagine it won't be too long now.
I will keep this post short as the guys over at Wired have covered this pretty well. Activision told the audience at E3 that the guitars, drum kits and microphones from both Guitar Hero and Rockband would be fully compatible with Guitar Hero: World Tour.
Wonderwall has recently set up a competition on their website, giving away 5 copies of Rock Band and a couple of T-Shirts to the winners. The basic principle of the competition is that you need to come up with a new band name for a band they choose (supplied in picture form). This competition is only available to residents of the UK.
With Rockband only recently being released in Europe Harmonix have wasted no time in following up their success with a sequel. If you have only just sprung for the full band equipment, fear not, as it has been confirmed that all the instruments will be operational with both games. The new instruments that will be released will simply have a facelift and tweaks to the appearance.
Next Tuesday the indie band Maximo Park will releasing their track "Girls Who Play Guitar" to the rockband store on the 10th of June, which is next tuesday at time of writing. If your haven't heard the song before, check out the video below at the base of this post.
In a similar move to the other major gaming releases in the past year or so, such as Halo 3 or Call Of Duty 4, Tom Clancy's Endwar is being released as a BETA trial before full release. To get your key you need to submit your email address through their web based form and then wait for them to send you a key. Enter the key in the 'Redeem Code' section on the Xbox 360 marketplace and begin the download. This will take up approximatly 3GB, so make sure you have got the room.
Although Japan now has a total of 3 downloadable content packs for Lost Odyssey the rest of the world is just now being graced with its appearance. The pack will cost 200 Microsoft points and is set to be released on Friday, April 25th to North America and Europe. The DLC pack will feature a new dream sequence, which are always good, and a few new items.
"The Shattered Bond" will allow plays to experience a new dream, the "Killer Machine" ring will give extra protection against magic-powered weapons and the "Memory Lamp" will let players re-live previous dreams, though I thought you could do this at any time when sleeping...

Star of Extras and The Office, two extremely funny comedies that were aired on BBC, Ricky Gervais will be making an appearance in one of the comedy clubs in the game and will provide 3 minute skits from never-before-heard material and some exerts from his stand-up "Fame". So get ready to track him down and get some laughs in! And if you don't like his jokes, feel free to beat him up in the back alley after the show!
At a party tonight in downtown San Francisco Valve released confirmation on the new weapons that will be available to the Medic class in Team Fortress 2 on Orange Box. They allowed the guests to get some practicing done on these new weapons when the floor was opened up, pitting guests against each other equipped with the new Medic arsenal.
