Rainbow 6 is one of Ubisoft's most successful series of games and even though the latest releases have been a slight disappointment a sequel was always bound to happen.

After speaking with someone working at Ubisoft it has come to my attention that the next installment is coming much sooner than we were lead to believe. The next game is currently being "sped through" the development process to get it released "as soon as possible". Is this really what we want? Is it really worth trading good game play for a month or two?

This decision will either re-vitalise the series by return to it's old roots or it will crumble and could be the last nail in the coffin.

The game is scheduled to be released in the coming months and we will keep you posted on it's progress.
