Thats right! The moment some of you have been waiting for and some has been dreading has finally come around with the release of the 'Dashboard 2.0' update. Although I haven't had much time to tinker around, it is already apparant that there have been some upgrades and overhauls from the previous system.

The first thing that will be become clear is the vast speed increase. Even with a new xbox 360, let alone one that has been around since release, it becomes sluggish and unresponsive at times especially when the guide button is pressed. Games load quicker and even in game loading times seemed to have decreased.

The marketplace, at time of writing, appears to be down though I am hoping that this is just a temporary problem. The ability to browse the marketplace online is now also up which will allow you to queue items to your xbox 360 on the go.
